Afendrika, Panagia

This is a ruined medieval church that is located in the area of the occupied village of Koutsovendis, near the monastery of Saint John Chrysostom. According to historical tradition, the church was originally Maronite before the residents converted to the Orthodox doctrine and the structure was abandoned. It consists of two integrated structures with a large destroyed dome, while in its interior important Byzantine wall paintings with figures of saints were preserved.
