Apostle Andrew

This magnificent parish church is the main church of Poli Chrysochous in the Paphos district and is dedicated to the Apostle Andrew. Its erection began in 1947 and was completed in 1959, while its official inauguration was celebrated in 1967 by the then Metropolitan of Paphos, Gennadios. The imposing structure of Byzantine style with the large dome dominates the area, functioning as the central spiritual and worship core for the entire local Christian community.
