Apostle Thomas

The small and picturesque chapel of the Apostle Thomas is a true ornament for the community of Ergates in the Nicosia district. It was erected in the early 20th century and has since been radically renovated twice, with the most recent conservation being completed in 2003 thanks to the efforts of the local ecclesiastical committee. The church is inextricably connected with the religious life of the village and celebrates its feast with particular splendor every year on Thomas Sunday.
