Archangel Michael

In the center of the community of Anogyra dominates the main church that is dedicated to the Archangel Michael, an impressive rectangular structure. Its exterior is adorned with a historic sundial and relief elements, while in its interior the elaborate wood-carved iconostasis and the traditional women's gallery steal the show. In its forecourt there are two rare deciduous trees and the monument of a fallen hero of the Turkish invasion.
