Chapel Cave of Saint George

This small carved cave-chapel is dedicated to Saint George and is located in the area of Ineia in Paphos, on the road that heads toward the Akamas peninsula and the bay of Lara. The space is formed within a natural rock, where the faithful have placed icons, lamps, and candles for pilgrimage. It is a very isolated and quiet spot of religious reverence within the wild nature of the area. Owing to its minimal interior space, it is suitable exclusively for individual prayer and a short stop for the passers-by.
