Chapel Evaggelisti Mark

This small and contemplative stone chapel was erected with deep emotion to honour the memory of little Markos, a child who unjustly lost his life in the tragic Helios air disaster in August of that year. The church is at the same time dedicated to the other thirteen victims of the air tragedy who came from the community of Paralimni. Externally it stands out for its traditional stonework, its tiled roof and its elegant dome, while inside it is dominated by white marble and a plain wood-carved iconostasis.
