Chapel of Archangel Michael

The small wooden-roofed chapel of the Archangel Michael is located at the entrance of the mountainous village of Treis Elies in the Limassol district. It follows the traditional architectural style of the churches of Troodos with an exterior facing of local stone and a sloping tiled roof. In its interior stands out a unique one-piece wooden architrave of the iconostasis, which bears carved pointed arches with rare painted depictions of the Twelve Feasts.
