Chapel of Holy Forerunner (St John the Baptist) and New Martyr Panagiotou

This modern and elegant chapel is built in the countryside of the community, very close to the boundaries with the neighboring village of Maroni. It is a plain, single-space structure with a beautiful exterior stone facing, which belongs to the ecclesiastical region of the Metropolis of Tremithous. It is dedicated jointly to Saint John the Forerunner and Saint New Martyr Panagiotis, being a distinctive spiritual refuge. The church opens its gates and gathers crowds of the faithful during the days of its annual festival in the summer.
