Chapel of Holy Forerunner (St John the Baptist)

Among the traditional houses of the village lies the small and plain chapel of the Honourable Forerunner, which is incorporated into the space of the local ecclesiastical museum. It is a single-aisled, externally stone-built structure with interior decoration and an old wood-carved iconostasis. Next to the church is kept a very old and rare icon of the Beheading of John, while the memory of the saint is honoured every year in late August with a procession.
