Chapel of Holy Unmercenaries Cosmas and Damian

The chapel of the Holy Unmercenaries is located to the north of the church of Panagia Angeloktisti. It is a vaulted church without a dome. In 1967 excavations were carried out by the Department of Antiquities, during which medieval tombs were discovered that no longer exist today. The copperplate engraving of the church attests that in the 19th century the church served for the baptisms of the inhabitants. It is worth noting that internally, despite all the wear, wall paintings from various periods are preserved. Currently a wooden iconostasis has been placed which has modern icons, and behind it the sanctuary can be discerned.
