Chapel of Holy Unmercenaries
This plain and quiet chapel is located in the rural area of the free community of Avgorou in the Famagusta district. It is a simple structure of popular traditional architecture with white walls, built to serve the religious needs of the local farmers. The church is dedicated to the miracle-working Holy Unmercenaries, Cosmas and Damian, and opens its gates for the faithful of the surrounding area during its annual religious feast on the 1st of November (as well as on the 1st of July).
