Chapel of Panagia Agiarachouniotissas (Ruins)

This particular chapel is a ruined medieval monument of the Panagia, hidden in the rural area of Kato Akourdaleia in Paphos. Owing to the extensive collapse of its roof and its stonework, the church has lost its functional form and its capacity is considered nil. The remaining ruins testify to the old medieval presence of Orthodox worship and the local appellations of the Theotokos in the Cypriot countryside. Today, the space lacks activity and serves exclusively as a historic and archaeological station for hikers who explore the trails of the area.
