Chapel of Panagia Parsata

This is an isolated and picturesque country chapel, also known as Panagia the Odigitria, which is located in the abandoned and ruined settlement of Parsata in the mountainous Larnaca district. The church is a small, single-space stone structure with a traditional gabled tiled roof and a semicircular sanctuary apse. The country chapel is the only intact structure that survives within the ruined landscape of the old miners' dwellings, offering a unique sense of serenity and historical memory to the few visitors and hikers of the area.
