Chapel of Panagia Voitheias

This beautiful and contemplative monastery chapel is dedicated to Panagia the Voitheia (the Help, called 'the Help of All'). It is incorporated within the complex of the Holy Monastery of Saint Kendeas, which is built in a quiet rural location on the geographical boundary of the community of Avgorou. The erection of this particular wing and the church began in 1977 on the initiative of the founder of the monastery, the hieromonk Anthimos, and the first women monastics, being ever since an important spiritual refuge of prayer and support for the countless pilgrims who visit the site daily.
