Chapel of Saint Barbara (Ruins)

In the rural area of the Municipality of Peyia in Paphos are located the ruined remnants of the old church that was dedicated to Saint Barbara. This historic structure has suffered total collapse over the passage of the centuries, with the result that only low sections of its stone masonry survive among the wild vegetation of the countryside. The space lacks a roof and is not functional for sacraments, being a silent archaeological testimony of the medieval heritage of the area.
