Chapel of Saint Barbara (Ruins)

In the rural periphery of Poli Chrysochous in the Paphos district are located the ruined remnants of the old church that was dedicated to Saint Barbara. The structure has suffered almost total collapse over the passage of the centuries, with the result that only low stone sections of its original masonry survive within the wild vegetation. As the space lacks a roof and basic infrastructure, it is not functional for the celebration of Christian sacraments, being a silent historic monument of the area.
