Chapel of Saint George of Limnis (Ruins)

To the east of the community of Letymvou in Paphos are found the ruins of the historic country chapel of Saint George, which according to local traditions dates back to around the 10th century. This medieval edifice collapsed completely with the passage of the centuries and because of old earthquakes of the area. Today the site is not functional for sacraments; however, at the spot of the ruins a small iconostasis with a votive lamp has been placed for passing pilgrims.
