Chapel of Saint Herakleidios (Lemesos)

This small chapel is located in the Tsiflikoudia-Zakaki area of Limassol, built on Franklin Roosevelt Avenue. The modern church was built as a single-aisled vaulted shrine exactly upon the ruins of an older, small early Christian church that existed at the spot. It has a semicircular sanctuary apse and a roof covered with traditional clay tiles of Byzantine type, being a quiet spiritual point of reference for passers-by and the local parish.
