Chapel of Saint Irene Chrysovalantou

This is a beautiful, small and stone-built little church located in the forecourt of the Holy Church of Saint Savvas in Livadia in the Larnaca district. The church is placed right behind the chapel of Saint Jude Thaddaeus, creating a unified and very contemplative place of pilgrimage. Owing to its particularly small size, the chapel functions as a warm hesychasterion, where dozens of faithful come daily to light a candle and honour the memory of the Saint.
