Chapel of Saint Konon

This small and extremely isolated chapel is hidden deep in the pristine nature of the Akamas peninsula, near Neo Chorio of Paphos. It was erected during the 20th century upon the remnants of a much older medieval church and presents a very simple, rectangular structure with a flat roof. The little church is inextricably connected with the cave crypt of Saint Konon that is located incorporated in the space, offering an environment of unique serenity for the hikers and the pilgrims who traverse the protected area.
