Chapel of Saint Napas

This isolated and ancient chapel is built on the western bank of the Kouris River, a little outside the community. It is a rare single-aisled church with a dome, which bears a distinctive interior architectural variation in the support of its roof. In its interior survive precious remnants of authentic wall paintings, while the surrounding space testifies to the existence of an old medieval settlement or a small monastic complex.
