Church of Apostle Barnabas

This magnificent parish church is located in the community of Mesogi in the Paphos district and is dedicated to the founder of the Church of Cyprus. It was erected in 1999 to cover the increased population needs of the village, as the older neighboring church of the Panagia was no longer sufficient. It is the first church in all of Paphos that bears the name of the Apostle Barnabas, while its official inauguration was celebrated with splendor in the summer of 2000.
