Church of Faneromenis

This is an impressive and magnificent church that adorns the cosmopolitan mountain resort. Its construction was completed with the generous financial contribution of a great benefactor of the area, replacing an older church of the 19th century. It is built with the characteristic local stone, decorated with beautiful tiles and red bricks, being one of the most recognizable architectural ornaments of Platres.
