Church of Holy Cross

The Holy Church of the Holy Cross is the central and parish church for the residents of the community of Foini in the mountainous Limassol district. It was erected in the mid-19th century, is stone-built and externally bears a white coating, while its tall bell tower is integrated into the main structure. It is located in the center of the village at a lower level than the road network, and is distinguished by the elaborate stone reliefs with apotropaic symbols on its walls and the precious, handmade carved iconostasis that adorns its interior.
