Church of Panagia

This small chapel of the Panagia is located to the west of the occupied community of Kormakitis in the Kyrenia district. It is a single-aisled, vaulted construction built with rough stones, which internally formerly bore wall paintings. The church was saved and fully renovated by the Maronite community, being a precious historic chapel where the residents of the village hold religious services.
