Church of Panagia

This historic church is a small structure of the cross-in-square type with a dome that is located in the occupied community of Trachoni Kythrea. Its original construction dates back to medieval times, while later an open pronaos with pointed arches was added. After coordinated efforts of the Technical Committee for Cultural Heritage, the structure was fully restored, preserving its gilded iconostasis of the 19th century.
