Church of Saint Barnabas

At a short distance outside Vasa Koilaniou, following the road toward the north, is located the plain chapel of Saint Barnabas. It is a small, single-aisled religious structure made of stone, which was erected right next to the historic cave where the local saint practiced asceticism and was buried. Its interior space has a simple wood-carved iconostasis and a few seats, offering an absolutely devout atmosphere to the visitors.
