Church of Saint George

The chapel of Saint George is a modest and plain religious space, which is located on the outskirts of the village of Kato Drys. Its erection was completed in the mid-20th century (1950) with expenses from the sale of local embroidery, and the characteristic stone of the surrounding area was used as building material. The church was chosen to be founded on a specific spot, right above the cave that is connected with the passage of Saint George.
