Church of Saint Nicholas, Bishopric, Levkosia (Mikri)

The old church of Saint Nicholas is the historic religious ornament that is located in the heart of the village of Episkopeio in Nicosia. It is a plain, traditional stone-built basilica that functioned as the original central church of the community for generations of the faithful. After the erection of the modern eponymous Cathedral, this small church is preserved as a devout chapel, a monument of the local architectural heritage.
