Church of Saint Panaretou

This church is located in Koloni of Geroskipou in Paphos and is a modern parish church, whose erection began in 1987 on the initiative of the then Metropolitan of Paphos, Chrysostomos II. Its official inauguration was celebrated on the 1st of May 1990, the day on which the memory of Saint Panaretos, Bishop of Paphos, is traditionally honored. The structure follows the lines of the Byzantine style with a dome, serving the increasing liturgical and social needs of the residents of the wider area. Right next to the church is also housed the well-known philanthropic "Margarita Liasidou" Foundation for persons with special abilities.
