Church of Transfiguration of the Saviour (Chrysosotiros)

This stone-built church dominates a prominent, elevated position in the center of the community and bears a characteristic gabled wooden roof. Its construction was completed in the early 18th century, incorporating building materials and architectural elements from an older structure of the area. According to local popular tradition, its entire wooden roof was constructed from the trunk of a single pine. In its interior stands out an elaborate wood-carved iconostasis that is adorned with historic religious icons of that period.
