Church of Transfiguration of the Saviour

This modern central church of mountainous Pitsilia is built in a verdant environment next to the Limnatis River and at a short distance from the local school. It is an imposing cruciform structure with a dome, whose exterior surfaces are white, while its bell tower that is formed by three through arches stands out. At the main entrance of the hospitable forecourt there is an impressive double-sided stone fountain that serves the faithful.
