Exoklisi Saint George Athrakos

This isolated and historic chapel is located in the mountainous location Athrakos, near the village of Louvaras in the Limassol district. The small stone church remained standing over time, being the only living sign of an old, abandoned settlement of the area. In its interior survives a rare and large wall painting of Saint George "the Galatitis" as a horseman, which is surrounded by characteristic scenes of his martyrdom.
