Holy Cathedral of Saint Nicholas, Bishopric

The new and imposing Holy Church of Saint Nicholas was officially designated in 2007 as the Cathedral of the Holy Metropolis of Tamasos and Oreini. It replaced the old, smaller church of the village, in order to serve the increased administrative and worship needs of the re-established Metropolis. It is the central spiritual core of the community of Episkopeio, hosting the great religious ceremonies and the official hierarchical services of the region.
