Holy Chapel of Saint George

This picturesque chapel is located in an isolated rural location to the southwest of the village, very close to the coastline and the well-known shipwreck of the area. It is a single-space, vaulted church constructed of thick Limassol stone, which had fallen into ruins but was restored in exemplary fashion by the Department of Antiquities. Owing to the idyllic landscape and the impressive view that it offers toward the sea at sunset, the chapel is an extremely popular and beloved choice for the celebration of weddings.
