Holy Chapel of Saint Kyriakos

The picturesque chapel of Saint Kyriakos the Hermit is built to the north of Kalopanagiotis, in the isolated area of Tzelia. It is a plain, single-space little chapel with a wooden-roofed roof that fully harmonizes with the wild mountainous landscape of Marathasa. In its interior it preserves a devout atmosphere, while the area around the church is inextricably connected with the old monastic life and the asceticism of the local Saints.
