Holy Chapel of Saint Trifylliou

This extremely small and plain chapel is hidden in the precinct of the historic Eleneion Primary School in the center of Nicosia. It is the only church in all of Cyprus that is dedicated to the first bishop and patron saint of the capital, Saint Triphyllios. Owing to its minimal dimensions, which do not exceed a few square meters, the space functions exclusively as a pilgrimage refuge and is completely unsuitable for the celebration of sacraments.
