Holy Church Eledion

This church is the central parish church of the community of Eledio in the Paphos district and is dedicated to Saint Irene. It was erected in the present location of the village, after the older church and the original settlement were completely destroyed by the powerful earthquake of 1953. The modern church is the spiritual centre of the community, falls under the Holy Metropolis of Paphos and celebrates with every formality on 5 May.
