Holy Church of Apostle Andrew Lemesou

This large parish church is located in the Municipality of Mesa Geitonia in Limassol and is dedicated to the First-Called Apostle Andrew. Its construction began during the 1950s to serve the needs of the area and was completed with its official inauguration in the late 1960s. It follows the architectural type of the three-aisled cross-in-square domed basilica, while within the surrounding space of the complex operates a smaller, contemplative chapel dedicated to the Honourable Forerunner (John the Baptist).
