Holy Church of Apostle Andrew

This majestic church dominates the Platy area of Aglantzia in Nicosia. Its construction began initially with a makeshift prefabricated structure in the late 1970s, with the aim of immediately meeting the religious needs of the displaced refugees. The permanent and modern church was completed and officially inaugurated in the mid-1980s, being ever since a very active spiritual, social and charitable core for the whole parish.
