Holy Church of God Sophia

This imposing church is located in Strovolos and is one of the largest and most impressive churches in Cyprus. Its architectural study and design were based on the historic models of the emblematic Hagia Sophia in Constantinople. The complex includes three underground chapels, one of which functions as a specially arranged baptistery, making the church particularly popular for the celebration of holy sacraments.
