Holy Church of Holy Cross

This majestic and imposing church dominates the centre of the settlement and is the religious symbol of the area. Its architectural structure combines the old cross-in-square style with modern extensions, while its impressive bell tower with the historic bells stands out. Inside it is kept an invaluable treasure, a large silver-gilt cross bearing a piece of the True Cross, protected in a special crypt of the elaborate wood-carved iconostasis.
