Holy Church of Holy Forerunner (St John the Baptist)

This noteworthy church is located within the community and has been fully restored, with the conservation works being completed in two thousand ten. It is a traditional stone edifice that bears a gabled roof covered with tiles. Inside it, historic relics of great value are kept, such as a rare gospel of the sixteenth century with a brass cover and old icons. The church falls administratively under the Holy Metropolis of Morphou and celebrates festively every summer.
