Holy Church of Panagia Aggeloktistis Kitiou

The church of Panagia Angeloktisti is a Byzantine church with the early Christian mosaic depicting the Virgin Mary with the Archangels Michael and Gabriel, which is located in the sanctuary. It also has wall paintings of the 13th century inside the church. Tradition says that this church was built by the Angels. It is worth noting that it is an important UNESCO World Heritage Monument.
