Holy Church of Panagia Catholic

This is an important medieval church that belongs to the rare type of the three-aisled timber-roofed basilica of the mountainous areas of Troodos. Its exterior walls are built of local natural stone, while inside it valuable relics and wall paintings with strong Italo-Byzantine influences are preserved. Owing to its enormous historical and archaeological value, the church has been arranged and now functions as the official icon repository of the community.
