Holy Church of Panagia Eleousas

This is a modern and spacious parish church, which was erected to meet the growing worship needs of the community of Prasteio (Avdimou). The structure follows the architectural type of the three-aisled domed basilica and is externally clad with beautiful local stone. It has a large, comfortable and paved courtyard, which makes it an ideal centre for the gathering of the faithful, as well as for the celebration of religious sacraments and feasts.
