Holy Church of Panagia

This small country chapel of the Virgin Mary is located in the occupied community of Klepini in the Kyrenia district. After the Turkish invasion of 1974, the church remained inactive for decades and the surrounding cemetery area suffered serious damage. In recent years, the site receives some care and maintenance, while it is occasionally used for the celebration of services by the Russian-speaking Orthodox community of the occupied areas.
