Holy Church of Saint Andronikos and Saint Anastasia (Ruins)

This impressive church is located in the eponymous refugee parish of occupied Kythrea and was one of the most magnificent spaces of worship of the area. It was originally built as a single-aisled structure, but during the 19th century it was significantly expanded, taking the form of a spacious basilica. After the events of the invasion of 1974 the church was abandoned, with the result of the partial collapse of its roof; however, recently works of consolidation and basic conservation were completed by the Bicommunal Technical Committee.
