Holy Church of Saint Andronikos

This is a historic chapel that is located on the southwestern side of the occupied village of Argaki in the Nicosia district. The structure was completed during the interwar period, offering a quiet space of worship for the residents of this rural community. After the events of 1974, the church was savagely plundered and suffered extensive destruction, while for a long time it was disrespectfully used as a pen for housing animals. Today, the formerly picturesque chapel remains ruined and desecrated, being a silent monument of the cultural loss of the area.
