Holy Church of Saint Charalambos Trimithiou

This church is located in the occupied community of Trimithi in the Kyrenia district and was the central parish church of the village. After the Turkish invasion of 1974, the church was savagely looted and all the religious relics, icons and its iconostasis were stolen or destroyed. The building was illegally converted into a mosque by the occupation authorities, resulting in significant alterations to its architectural identity, and it remains inaccessible to the displaced faithful.
